Making Unlimited Video Phone Calls without a Computer
You probably heard of Skype and other Instant Messengers that you can use to chat with voice, video and text in real time. They are so easy to use that my 10 yr old daughter just skyped me today from the mainland while on vacation. I had to stay behind to fix computers. But one thing all these programs have in common is that they all have a weak link because they all rely on a healthy computer that can connect to the internet.
I have many local customers who depend on programs such as Skype to stay in touch with family on the mainland and other places around the world. They come to our shop to repair their computers, mostly from malware infections, so they end up missing a few calls to their loved ones. We all know by now that the information superhighway is full of viruses and malware, which internet connected PC computers are extremely vulnerable to. The average everyday PC user has probably experienced a malware problem in their life by now. I’m sure they learned that malware can negatively impact your connection to the internet, not to mention, it can crash your computer.
So what can be done when you need to stay in touch and your computer is down? Well, there is another option where you can use your internet connection with a unique digital phone service to make high resolution video phone calls without a computer. You probably heard of digital phone service from HawaiianTel, Oceanic and Vonage, or even the MagicJack, but they only offer voice connections. Well, they are not the only companies out there that offer digital phone service, but there is a large company that has been selling digital phone service and video phones around the world for several years now!
I’m talking about a company that was founded in 1993, that has become the largest direct seller of telecommunications and home services around the world. They have been selling an affordable solution for making video calls with a “real” telephone, not a computer. You get assigned a real phone number (you can even re-use your existing phone number) that you can use to make and receive unlimited voice and video calls (both ends must have video phones for video calls). You can even use it to replace your current phone service, because you can use it 24/7.
The future of video phones is here Now! It is surely a gadget that will eventually be deemed a household necessity much like regular telephones, TVs and microwaves. Global advancements in our high-speed internet infrastructure has put video phones on center stage, now that many country’s internet service providers can provide the bandwidth needed for the worldwide migration from voice to video phones.
Even though video phones have been around for several years now, the timing has never been better to get one in your household, because one company has just launched their latest model just today (29Jul2010). How many times did you buy a gadget such as a computer just to find out that a newer model came out a week later?
You can see I am excited, because with our multi-cultural society here in Hawaii, I see the potential of being able to send an extra video phone to family overseas to make free unlimited international calls. Imagine not having to buy any more phone cards. Then all their stateside relatives could call them as well. Maybe they should pitch in and help buy the phone, its not terribly expensive anyway, and they will also save money from not having to buy as many phone cards. This phone would be able to quickly pay for itself! Your family and friends overseas could actually have an (808) area code. Imagine that! Then they could send or receive calls from anyone in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and Guam with the North America plan. And there are other country plans you can do this with also.
You could also use these same phones for businesses as well, but there is a whole suite of business products available for small businesses with special needs that require up to 50 phones.
Hawaii is becoming an important hub in the Pacific for expansion into the Asian market. This business is now operating in 21 countries already, although the headquarters is located in the Unites States.
While I am excited about the phone, I am even more excited about the business opportunity behind the phone, for more information how you may start your own home-based business, visit: http://www.NixTheRatRace.com
