Basic Diagnostic: $49.⁹⁹

• Included in the cost of all Repairs & Services, is Payable in Advance and is Non-Refundable. This fee is deducted from the total cost.

Premium Repair: $149.⁹⁹

Includes Basic Repair for 5 to 6 User Accounts and any (2) of the following services:

• Windows Installation (clean or repair)
• Desktop motherboard replacement/repair
• Multiple unrelated problems
• Physically clean computer interior/exterior (desktops)
• Parts cost extra

Specialty Repair/Service: $199.⁹⁹

These repairs/services are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

• Dual-Boot Systems (Windows Only)
• Laptop DC Power Jack Repair (very case by case basis)
• Laptop Motherboard Replacement
• Custom Computer builds with Windows OS installation
• Other really unique jobs not covered above
• Parts cost extra

Onsite Repairs: $79.⁹⁹ per hour

Minimum 1 Hour with a $10 – $20 Trip Charge depending on location. Parking fees may also apply for downtown locations.

• Typical service calls range between 1 & 2 hours depending on the problem
• The better you can describe your problem, the better we can estimate how long it will take
• Some tedious or difficult problems are best done in-shop. The technician can usually diagnose these types of repair jobs early on and will make recommendations to best suit your needs and budget.

Data Backup: $69.⁹⁹

Includes backup or transfer of your data to DVD, another computer or an External Hard Drive. Computer can be broken, but your drive must be fully functional with direct access to the files. Only data will be backed-up, as programs and printer software, etc will not work when copied, you must use the original source to reinstall them.

• If backing up to DVD, 1^st DVD is free
• Additional $10.00 applies for each additional 4.5 GB of data when backing up to DVD
• Bring an External Hard Drive for large jobs

Data Recovery: $149.⁹⁹

Includes backup or transfer of your data to DVD, another computer or an External Hard Drive when your Hard Drive is corrupt or the data is not directly accessible. Only data will be backed-up, as programs and printer software, etc will not work when copied, you must use the original source to reinstall them. We do not perform “file repair” for files that were recovered, but corrupted.

• Additional $10.00 applies for each additional 4.5 GB of data when backing up to DVD
• Bring an External Hard Drive for large jobs

Gakidoo’s Computer Repair provides “limited” Data Recovery Services using various Data Recovery Utility programs. We DO NOT attempt Data Recovery on hard drives with physical damage or drives making unusual noises such as scraping, tapping, clicking or humming sounds. In fact, we do not even recommend you power-up a hard drive that has obvious physical damage or is making unusual sounds, or you might risk complete data loss. These types of failures should be handled by an ISO Certified Cleanroom Data Recovery Company such as Drive Savers at (800) 440-1904.
